Park Byung-joo Predicts Long-Term Bullish Trend for Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix

Expert Park Byung-joo revealed that he achieved continuous high returns through leveraged products in Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. He explained that he precisely bought at the low point when the domestic stock market plummeted for two days, July 29th and 30th, resulting in a 53% profit.

He added that he achieved high performance in a short period, recording a 34% profit from purchases made on August 6th and a 38% profit from purchases made on August 19th.

Expert Park Byung-joo argued that Samsung Electronics will rise to 600,000 won and SK Hynix to 5 million won in the long term. He expects Samsung Electronics to record an operating profit of 110 trillion won and SK Hynix 70 trillion won in the third quarter, analyzing that these are undervalued compared to Nvidia's operating profit of 88 trillion won.

Based on these performance forecasts, he emphasized that the two semiconductor leaders have sufficient long-term growth potential.

Expert Park Byung-joo expressed his frustration and feeling of unfairness, recounting his experience of receiving much criticism despite instructing a full sell-off of large-cap stocks on June 4th. He mentioned that after he advocated selling, the stock prices of companies like Samsung Electronics indeed fell.

He recalled that despite his advice later being proven correct, he received many insults from investors at the time.

Based on this experience, he emphasized that recommending a buy at the current bottom is his duty as an expert.

Expert Park Byung-joo asserted that it is an expert's responsibility to inform investors of buying opportunities when the stock market is at its bottom. He stressed that for investors who have incurred losses, the current leveraged investment in Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix is an opportunity for recovery.

Unlike other experts who recommended buying at high points in the past, he emphasized that presenting hope at the current bottom is the role of a true expert.

He added that helping investors regain profits through this is crucial.

Expert Park Byung-joo stated that he has consistently emphasized the buying timing for Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix leveraged products since July 30th. He explained that due to the nature of free broadcasts, it is difficult to accurately specify selling points, but he consistently mentioned buying opportunities.

He added that although selling was left to investors' discretion due to the limitations of free broadcasts, he did his best to ensure buying opportunities were not missed.

Expert Park Byung-joo explained that the increased demand for Nvidia GPUs leads to sales of High Bandwidth Memory (HBM). He cited global companies like Amazon and Tesla using Nvidia GPUs on a large scale as evidence.

He analyzed that when Nvidia GPUs are sold, HBM produced by Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Micron are sold as a set, meaning increased GPU demand directly implies HBM market growth.

Expert Park Byung-joo argued that Samsung Electronics is significantly undervalued compared to Nvidia. He stated that while Nvidia's second-quarter operating profit was 88 trillion won, Samsung Electronics already recorded 89 trillion won in the second quarter and is expected to reach 110 trillion won in the third quarter.

However, he pointed out that Nvidia's market capitalization exceeds 7,600 trillion won, whereas Samsung Electronics remains around 1,500 trillion won, indicating an unreasonable gap in market capitalization relative to operating profit.

Expert Park Byung-joo rated the reliability of domestic securities firm reports very low. He argued that securities firm reports lack objectivity because they are linked to stock trading based on their own capital.

In contrast, he judged KAIST Professor Kim Jung-ho's analysis to be reliable because it is conducted from an objective perspective. He emphasized that even trusting only 10% of securities firm reports is a lot, warning against potential information distortion due to conflicts of interest.

Expert Park Byung-joo warned that caution is needed when investing in US stocks. He pointed out that with an expected strong won trend, there is a significant risk of exchange rate losses when buying US stocks.

Furthermore, he argued that domestic securities firms are encouraging US stock trading for commission profits, and investing in US stocks while relatively undervalued Samsung Electronics exists is irrational.

He recommended that investors focus on the domestic large-cap stock, Samsung Electronics, as a smarter choice.

Expert Park Byung-joo argued that he has moved away from his past strategy of focusing on growth stocks like pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, and now large-cap stocks can also generate sufficient profits. He explained that even large-cap stocks can record over 30% returns in just one month from a good buying position.

Using the case of POSCO Holdings as an example, he emphasized that a strategy of buying at low points can lead to high returns even in large-cap stocks.

Expert Park Byung-joo advised investors who incurred losses in Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix leveraged products not to run away, but rather to hold them and heal losses through a divided purchasing strategy. He emphasized that ultimately, losses must be overcome through profits.

He mentioned that his past selling strategy was successful, adding that he feels a sense of responsibility as an expert in the current situation.

Expert Park Byung-joo analyzed that Hanwha's spin-off had a positive impact on corporate value. He explained that Hanwha streamlined unnecessary businesses in the past and reorganized to focus only on core profitable businesses through the spin-off.

He evaluated that this business reorganization and reduction in the number of shares contributed to enhancing the company's value.

Expert Park Byung-joo mentioned that construction stocks are transforming from their traditional apartment construction business into AI data center infrastructure companies. He predicted that this structural change will be the future growth engine for construction stocks.

He explained that various factors related to AI infrastructure construction, such as labor shortages in the US and the acquisition of Westinghouse, are contributing to the structural improvement of construction stocks.

Expert Park Byung-joo argued that construction stocks are significantly undervalued compared to pharmaceutical and biotech stocks based on market capitalization relative to performance. He compared Ligand ChemBio, which is in the red, with a market capitalization of 3.7 trillion won, to GS E&C, which is profitable, with a market capitalization of only 3.1 trillion won.

He pointed out this imbalance and predicted that the downturn cycle for pharmaceutical and biotech stocks will continue.

Conversely, he analyzed that performance-based companies like construction stocks are undervalued and have significant upside potential.
