Sisa Tapa Chat: Hate Speech Against Lee Jae-myung 'Goes Too Far'

New Tam Sa stated, "We collected all similar phrases like 'removal' and 'punishment' directly targeting President Lee Jae-myung himself," adding, "Nearly 100 different accounts were posting these comments."

New Tam Sa noted, "There were 26 mentions of arrest and imprisonment, posted by 24 accounts," and "There were also quite a few mentions of impeachment. There were really many, 47 instances, and judgment also 28, and 'dragging him down' was 18, punishment 31."

The period when hate comments were most concentrated was the three days from August 15 to 17, from the day of the Honam primary to the day of the national convention. During these three days, there were signs that comments were intensively posted by 82 accounts. New Tam Sa stated, "These comments were particularly prevalent around the time of the national convention," adding, "August 15 was the day of the Honam primary. The 17th was the day of the national convention, and the concentration was over four days. 82 people were involved, and it's distinctive that these 82 people focused on these three days."

Actual chat windows showed provocative comments such as 'Should we even shout for Lee Jae-myung's impeachment?', 'Lee Jae-myung only sided with conservatives because he doesn't want to go to jail,' and 'Let's judge Lee Jae-myung, the disguised president.' These posts were not deleted and remained visible in the chat.

New Tam Sa criticized the Sisa Tapa operators for not keeping their promise to block hateful comments against leader Lee Jae-myung. New Tam Sa stated, "It has been confirmed once again that the claim to block all abusive comments about President Lee Jae-myung is a lie, and the fact that such comments frequently appear on Sisa Tapa suggests an environment where such comments can thrive." This implies that an environment conducive to the proliferation of hate speech has been created within Sisa Tapa.

These posts were particularly concentrated around August 16 and were left unblocked. The New Tam Sa host mentioned, "Comments like 'Let's judge Lee Jae-myung' continue to appear dozens of times a day."

In addition, content attacking both leader Lee Jae-myung and lawmaker Kim Min-seok, along with accusations of Shincheonji involvement, were also found. Over time, the intensity of the language became even more explicit and extreme.

The New Tam Sa host stated, "If you watch his broadcast, he himself makes very extreme remarks about President Lee Jae-myung. He instigates hatred himself, so he thinks it's okay to do it," pointing out that the operator's attitude encourages the spread of hate comments.

In the past, Han Won-seop referred to candidate Lee Jae-myung as 'trash,' saying, "I see Lee Jae-myung as trash. But if he unavoidably passes, I'll vote for him." These past remarks align with former leader Cho Kuk's 'guilty after retirement' statement, bringing Lee Jong-won and Han Won-seop's relationship and past statements back into focus.

This suggests a skeptical attitude towards leader Lee Jae-myung from the candidate stage, not just after election. The New Tam Sa host questioned, "Didn't Lee Jong-won go around saying 'don't work too hard' to his own people, even after the primary and after Lee Jae-myung was decided as the presidential candidate?" suggesting that Lee Jong-won may have secretly hoped for Lee Nak-yeon's victory.

The New Tam Sa host emphasized, "The Democratic Party should, of course, conduct a special audit at this level," and "This person is engaging in detrimental activities far more serious than most National Assembly members." This implies that such actions are unacceptable for a party member and warrant strong disciplinary action.

This claim is sometimes linked to conspiracy theories about impeachment rallies against Lee Jae-myung and presented along with content about allegedly trying to recruit Lee Jun-seok and anti-Yoon forces. The host mentioned, "You see, Lee Jae-myung's impeachment, right."

Along with this, content promoting lawmaker Kim Min-seok as an alternative and even raising suspicions of Shincheonji involvement was found. The host added, "They even say Lee Jae-myung is an evil cuckoo using the Democratic Party, even though he's actually the party leader."

Expressions such as 'Traitor Lee Jae-myung in front of President Lee Jae-myung, why is President Lee Jae-myung a traitor?' were rampant. This appears to be an attempt to emphasize Lee Jae-myung's legal risks and project a negative image, similar to the case of former leader Cho Kuk.

They ridicule leader Lee Jae-myung with the phrase 'smart dictatorship' and argue, 'Lee Jae-myung and Kim Min-seok predicted their own future, and that's an act of suicide to be punished by the people.' This is unfolding in a similar context to pro-People Power Party sentiment, advocating for Lee Jae-myung's impeachment.

The host mentioned, "I increasingly feel that there's not much difference between Jeong Kwang-hoon and Lee Jong-won when I look at this," suggesting that internal instigation is occurring within Sisa Tapa, with claims from specific individuals like Jeong Kwang-hoon and Lee Jong-won intermingled.

The host stated, "This is showing the true face of anti-Lee Jae-myung forces disguised as the core supporters of the Democratic Party," pointing out that such organized comment activity is contributing to deepening conflict within the Democratic Party.

Statements like 'Lee Jae-myung and Song Young-gil will all go to jail' are accompanied by claims such as 'nullify election fraud' and 'we will certainly impeach Lee Jae-myung, who trampled on fairness and common sense in the next election.'
