Those Around Her Emphasize Sarah Has No Responsibility for Diya's Care
A fierce debate took place between the counselor and Sarah regarding Diya's living arrangements. The counselor argued that Sarah had no moral responsibility to care for Diya and emphasized that it was morally right for Diya to go to Samina, a relative of Ahmed Bai and Ruqaiyah.
Sarah countered that she had already asked Diya's relatives for help, but all had refused. The counselor dismissed Sarah's argument and suggested that Diya should be sent to an orphanage (Darul Aman).
The counselor also criticized Sarah's judgment, slandering that it would be dangerous to keep Diya at home given Sarah's precarious marital situation.
