MaeKyung Stock League: Tuesday Team Reclaims 1st Place… Hana Micron, Justem Recommended

The operating method of the MaeKyung Stock League has changed, with the existing Red Team vs. Blue Team confrontation being replaced by five teams competing daily from Monday to Thursday. Individual return rates are calculated by summing the highest return rates based on the Korea Exchange, and team return rates are calculated by averaging the return rates of each team's experts.

The Tuesday team reclaimed the top spot as expert Park Yong-jin's stock 'Hool' recorded a high return rate of 61%, boosting the team's overall average return rate to 49%. Consequently, the Monday team, previously in first place, dropped to second with a 42% return rate.

Currently, in the MaeKyung Stock League's highest return rate stock rankings, expert Park Chul-soo's TFE holds the top spot with 34.47%, followed by manager Sokryul's MK Electronics in second with 31%. Third and fourth places are maintained by expert Park Yong-jin's Korea Kolmar and Oi Holdings, showing return rates of 26% and 25% respectively.

Despite the overall weakness in game stocks, NCsoft is showing good performance, and its 'Just Play' platform continues to grow steadily. Expert Woo Hyun-jin believes that the stock is forming support at the bottom of its moving average, making it suitable for long-term holding. He advises investors holding the stock to consider it a position where a significant rebound can be expected, suggesting a long-term perspective.

Despite being a heavy stock, Hanwha Solutions showed a positive chart trend, closing with bullish candles for two consecutive days amidst recent market adjustments. Expert Sung Hwa analyzed that it successfully rebounded after the adjustment and further increases are fully possible. He also noted improvements in short selling and loan balances, as well as a better supply-demand situation, concluding that the stock has bottomed out and returned to an upward trend, anticipating further gains.

Expert Woo Hyun-jin recommended Hana Micron as a promising stock, explaining that the company recorded very good results in the second quarter and, as a specialized semiconductor post-processing company, can perform semiconductor packaging and testing on a turnkey basis. Its main client is SK Hynix, and since SK Hynix is currently focusing its post-processing capabilities on HBM production, Hana Micron is expected to benefit from this.

As Samsung Electronics focuses on HBM production, it is extensively outsourcing post-processing volumes for general-purpose memory like DDR5 to Hana Micron's Vietnamese subsidiary, making Hana Micron a prime beneficiary. This strategy is interpreted as Samsung's move to reduce the burden on its general-purpose memory packaging and testing capabilities while concentrating on HBM. Through this, Hana Micron is expected to see earnings growth in the second half, third, and fourth quarters.

Hana Micron's packaging technology boasts advanced capabilities, integrating mobile DRAM chips, NAND flash chips, and controllers into a single package. This technology is essential for the future 'on-device AI' trend, where AI operates within mobile phones. The high technical difficulty of integrating multiple semiconductors in a confined space creates a significant entry barrier built through years of experience. This technological prowess is expected to enhance its competitiveness in securing orders in the future on-device AI market.

Currently, Hana Micron's revenue from the system semiconductor testing division is not large, but this segment's revenue is expected to increase steadily with the recovery of Samsung Foundry's utilization rate. The recovery of Samsung Foundry will lead to the revitalization of Samsung's system semiconductor business, allowing Hana Micron to expect additional profit growth in the system semiconductor sector. This will likely attract favorable demand at its current stock price.

Hana Micron's chart shows it bottomed out and has been steadily trending upwards, but after a sharp rise, it has become more volatile with upper wicks. The current stock price around 36,000 won is considered attractive, and a short-term upward movement can be anticipated. For investment strategy, a target price of 47,000 won and a stop-loss price of 30,000 won were recommended to manage short-term volatility.

Justem is a company that manufactures devices for injecting nitrogen into wafer storage containers to reduce humidity during wafer transfer and storage. Wafers are susceptible to moisture, which can lead to reduced yield, deterioration, or contamination. Justem's technology solves these problems, playing an essential role in processes critical for improving semiconductor yield. The company supplies its products to major semiconductor firms including Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Micron.

Justem's performance is surging as semiconductor companies focus on yield improvement, and it supplies products to all three major players: Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Micron. Notably, its 2nd generation humidity control technology is an innovative solution that reduces humidity inside storage containers to less than 1% by altering airflow, expected to boost operating profit by approximately 10 times. This technology and increasing market demand are set to accelerate Justem's growth.

Justem is currently showing a steady upward trend with increasing trading volume. Although it recently formed an upper wick, the trading volume was not large, suggesting that further gains are fully possible. For small and medium-sized stocks, a short-term target price of 20,000 won and a stop-loss price of 7,000 won were suggested for improving returns.
