Ecopro BM · Poongsan Stock Market Outlook

Former President Donald Trump's statement that he would end the war with Iran immediately after the midterm elections created significant market repercussions. While his remarks implied Iran would no longer be able to endure, the market interpreted this as a signal that the war would continue until November.

This interpretation immediately drove international oil prices above $100 per barrel, intensifying concerns about rising oil prices and increasing overall market volatility. Investors watched the impact of political uncertainty before and after the midterm elections on the energy market, fueling anxiety about future market trends.

However, it must be considered that he is a politician who cannot ignore the midterm elections.

Looking at past remarks, there are many instances where he changed his stance before elections, suggesting that a compromise from Trump is likely before November this time as well. The market is hopeful that this political tug-of-war will lead to oil price stabilization.

This shortfall in expectations caused significant disappointment in the market.

Despite the increased issuance volume, the market's strong disappointment is interpreted as reflecting the perception that macroeconomic uncertainties, such as the Iran war risk, remain substantial.

SK Innovation faced the negative news of a merger with SKI Technology, which investors typically avoid. Nevertheless, its stock price has risen to approximately ₩159,000.

This is analyzed as a result of positive factors across the refining sector offsetting the negative impact of the merger issue on the stock price. Investors tend to focus more on the positive trends of the entire sector than on individual corporate setbacks.

SK Hynix is leading the market by securing top-tier global competitiveness in high-bandwidth memory (HBM). This technological advantage, bolstered by increasing HBM demand, serves as a key driver for SK Hynix's growth.

The effect of rising prices due to reduced general DRAM production also positively impacts SK Hynix's performance. Additionally, through its subsidiary Solidigm, it is actively responding to the demand in the NAND and SSD markets.

These complex factors, coupled with increased memory demand driven by the growth of the AI agent market, are considered factors that enhance SK Hynix's long-term growth potential.

Today, a mechanical selling volume of approximately ₩1.24 trillion from SK Hynix is expected due to semiconductor ETF rebalancing. This could exert downward pressure on the stock price in the short term.

Furthermore, a re-vote on the tentative agreement for SK Hynix's labor-management negotiations is scheduled for the 15th to 16th of next week. As it was previously rejected, the outcome of this vote will again act as a factor increasing uncertainty.

For short-term investment in SK Hynix, analysis suggests it is prudent to refrain from new purchases and take a wait-and-see approach. While the stock price shows a strong upward trend, it is necessary to confirm whether it breaks the ₩2 million resistance level.

One must consider the possibility that today's early trading strength could lead to a decline later in the day. Breaking and settling above the ₩2 million resistance level is a prerequisite for a strong rebound, thus requiring a cautious approach until then.

The US has designated reliance on Chinese batteries as a national security risk.

This tightening of US regulations is expected to increase anxieties about the Chinese battery supply chain, providing new opportunities for domestic battery companies.

In particular, domestic companies are expected to expand their market share in the energy storage system (ESS) and electric vehicle markets. The overall upward trend seen in secondary battery companies yesterday also reflects these expectations.

This fact, only now revealed, is a crucial clue indicating Ecopro BM's long-term growth potential.

With the push for mandatory battery production in Europe, Ecopro BM is expected to directly benefit from its contract with Tesla. The demand for self-produced batteries in the European market presents a significant opportunity for Ecopro BM, a precursor supplier.

Despite being an undisclosed contract, a long-term relationship with a global leader like Tesla proves Ecopro BM's technological prowess and stable supply capabilities. This increases the likelihood of additional supply contracts in the future.

Investing in robot stocks is currently analyzed as a time to have both hope and caution. While there may be short-term opportunities, concerns about turning to a deficit in terms of performance persist.

The competitiveness of core robot components such as actuators acts as a positive factor. However, when stock prices surge in the short term, it may be necessary to consider a strategy of realizing some profits.

It is important to identify upward trends through technical chart analysis and approach with caution in overheated areas.

Yuil Robotics is drawing attention as a company with a high possibility of being incorporated into the SK Group. SK Battery America is the second-largest shareholder of Yuil Robotics and has exercised its call option.

This suggests that Yuil Robotics is highly likely to be practically incorporated into the SK Group, especially SK On, similar to the case of Rainbow Robotics joining Samsung. SK On is also collaborating with Yuil Robotics on the joint development of all-solid-state batteries for humanoids.

SK Telecom participated as the second-largest shareholder of CMES, strengthening cooperation. This collaboration with the SK Group has positively impacted CMES's performance.

CMES achieved its highest half-year performance in the company's history this year. With expanded cooperation with the SK Group, CMES's revenue growth is expected to accelerate further.

At the current stock price level, a process of消化 selling pressure may be necessary.

This is a stage where consideration of profit realization timing is needed, and new investors should closely observe stock movements and confirm selling pressure.

This reflects a re-evaluation of corporate value and future growth potential.

In particular, strengthened ESS regulations in China are expected to act as a positive spillover for domestic ESS-related companies. Accordingly, interest in companies within the LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) value chain, such as Samsung SDI, LNF, and POSCO Future M, is growing.

These companies are expected to benefit from the expansion of the ESS market and the increased demand for LFP batteries.

Nuclear power stocks may enter a short-term correction after surging for three consecutive days. However, this correction is considered a healthy movement.

Ahead of the midterm elections, issues related to power supply and data centers are likely to be politically utilized. This could have a positive impact on nuclear power-related companies.

Expectations for a Czech nuclear power plant construction contract and equipment supply persist until December, which enhances the long-term investment appeal of nuclear power stocks. Therefore, a strategy of holding until the end of the year rather than short-term profit realization is effective.

Specifically, when the price falls below ₩135,000, a first phase of buying is possible from a new acquisition perspective.

For Daewoo E&C, if the stock price drops to around ₩185,000, a buying perspective during a correction is also valid. Momentum for these nuclear power and construction sectors is expected to continue until December.

Investors can consider a long-term strategy by taking advantage of corrections in these stocks.
