Tesla Cybertruck Appears on Broadcast with 170 Million Followers

Approximately 30,000 viewers witnessed this scene live at the time, sparking curiosity about the Cybertruck's unique appearance and its potential for autonomous driving.

The vehicle was seen crossing the road and moving into a parking lot, leaving a strong impression on many watching the broadcast.

iShowSpeed's discovery of the Cybertruck in Austin was an unplanned, spontaneous event. His genuine reaction created an advertising effect that money couldn't buy.

iShowSpeed is not a creator who exclusively covers Tesla, so his viewers belong to a much broader audience beyond the Tesla community. This naturally exposed the Cybertruck to the general public, generating significant interest.

Tesla also confirmed iShowSpeed's broadcast and reacted immediately. Ashok Elluswamy, Tesla's AI director, expressed interest with a friendly message: 'Brother, try that car in Austin.'

The official Tesla account provided a guide on how to book a vehicle via the Cybertruck app, leveraging this exposure as an opportunity to attract potential customers.

The on-site video uploaded on September 12 showed the Prufrock MB2 equipment being used to excavate through limestone.

This project is considered a crucial step in proving The Boring Company's technological capabilities.

This method involves transporting passengers by introducing Tesla vehicles into the tunnel.

The project is expected to alleviate chronic traffic congestion and shorten the airport-city travel time, currently 30-60 minutes, to 8-10 minutes.

Currently, MB1 and MB2 equipment are in use, with MB3 equipment scheduled to be added in September.

Excavation work is progressing smoothly, and construction speed is expected to increase further as equipment is expanded as planned.

Unlike methods that involve digging a little and stopping to attach wall sections, this technology aligns the inside of the tunnel simultaneously with excavation.

In August 2026, automated concrete segment work was performed, and over 40 stations are planned for the Nashville route. A $34 million agreement was made for connecting the airport and remote parking lots, with total construction costs estimated between $240 million and $300 million.

The Las Vegas Loop was initially considered a simple event experience facility, as it involved Tesla vehicles passing through a tunnel rather than a subway. However, it has been successfully operating, continuously expanding its routes and now surpassing 4 million cumulative passengers.

Clark County has approved permits for a total of 142 stations, and the planned routes span a total of 68 miles. Through this, the Las Vegas Loop has firmly established itself as a crucial mode of urban transport beyond a mere experiential facility.

Now, an 'AD' button has appeared in the upper right corner of the Tesla browser. When this feature is enabled, it effectively blocks advertisements, tracking codes, scripts, analytics codes, heavy banners, and animations before web pages load.

This feature prevents unnecessary elements from being drawn before the page renders, improving web browsing speed and the overall performance of the vehicle's infotainment system. Users of early models equipped with Intel Atom chipsets will particularly experience a significant performance boost, while AMD Ryzen model users will also see improved screen readability.

This is because these vehicles have hardware limitations in their ECU computers, leading to lower memory efficiency and limited processing power.

Excessive ad scripts would excessively occupy the resources of Intel Atom chipset vehicles, causing the browser to freeze. By not loading ads from the start, memory and processing burdens are reduced, significantly improving browsing performance without needing to replace the chip.

As of September 13, this feature has been rolled out to approximately 8% of Tesla vehicles worldwide.
