The internal prosecution investigation report exposed by New탐사 (NewTamsa) is an initial investigation report drafted by the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office in November 2022, containing details of the investigation into lawmaker Kim Seung-won.

The intention to thoroughly understand the network of the investigated person is evident throughout the report.

The report specified Kim Seung-won as being from Suwon and recorded his affiliation with attorney Nam Wook's defense team related to the Daejang-dong development project. It also classified him as part of the 'Lee Jae-myung faction,' similar to the Democratic Party, noting his joining of Lee Jae-myung's presidential campaign in 2021 and his appointment as the Democratic Party's legal committee chairman in September 2022 when Lee Jae-myung, as party leader, appointed party executives.

This content, included directly in the investigative report, clearly shows the target direction of the investigation. Although the Genencell case was a stock manipulation incident that caused many victims, the prosecution initially had no interest in the victims of stock manipulation. Their interest was solely focused on whether this case could help link Kim Seung-won and Lee Jae-myung.

For them, the primary concern was how much this case could help link Kim Seung-won and Lee Jae-myung.

By appending articles reported by media outlets like NewsDaily, stating 'Kim Seung-won joined Lee Jae-myung's camp,' the report emphasized the connection between lawmaker Kim Seung-won and leader Lee Jae-myung.

The inclusion of such content in the investigative report raises suspicion that it might have been intended to politically isolate leader Lee Jae-myung.

At this time, Han Dong-hoon was the Minister of Justice, and he reportedly received all these reports. This supports the suspicion that the ultimate goal was to pressure leader Lee Jae-myung through investigations targeting his close associates.

Given that Han Dong-hoon, then Minister of Justice, was receiving all these investigation reports, suspicions arise that he was not merely a recipient of reports but rather the 'mastermind' of the investigation. The replacement of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office investigation team leader, due to his dissatisfaction with the Ssangbangul North Korea remittance case remaining a stock manipulation case, is also not unrelated to this.

It is suspected that Kim Young-il was appointed as deputy chief prosecutor to replace the investigation team leader, allowing the Ssangbangul case to proceed as an investigation targeting leader Lee Jae-myung rather than stock manipulation. At that time, the only person who could appoint prosecutors of deputy chief prosecutor rank or higher was Han Dong-hoon, the Minister of Justice. Criminal Division 5 is responsible for investigating politicians and corporate corruption, indicating a clear shift in the nature of the investigation.

Criminal Division 5 primarily investigates cases of political and corporate corruption, and the re-assignment of the case suggests an intention to expand the scope of the investigation from lawmaker Kim Seung-won individually to politicians associated with leader Lee Jae-myung.

This strongly supports the suspicion that Minister Han Dong-hoon attempted to control the entire investigation process.

This indicates that she was aware she was the target of a targeted investigation.

Yang Su-jin's statement in the prosecutor's transcript expresses her dissatisfaction with being harassed for a long period. It appears she was well aware of why she was being subjected to a targeted investigation.
