Former President Park Geun-hye Attends People Power Party Workshop

Former President Park Geun-hye hoped that this workshop would serve as an opportunity to deepen comradeship, emphasizing that during difficult times, the party must unite around its leadership and move forward.

She urged the leadership to deeply consider the will of the people during these challenging times and lead the party, stating that the lives of the nation and its people should take precedence over individual convictions.

Former President Park Geun-hye emphasized that the people must come first over individual convictions, and to achieve this, the leadership and party members must unite as comrades and faithfully fulfill their respective roles.

She stated that while reform and innovation are often discussed, restoring public trust is true reform, and resolving what the people are suffering from and urgently desire is innovation.

Former President Park reasserted that defending the values of the Republic of Korea's constitution, protecting the nation, safeguarding the lives of its people, and taking responsibility for the future constitute true conservative values.

She made it clear that caring for the lives of the people and the difficulties faced by businesses, as well as strengthening national security, are fundamental roles of a conservative party.

Party leader Han Dong-hoon expressed his gratitude to former President Park Geun-hye for visiting him during his hunger strike.

He mentioned that her warm words at the time gave him great strength to endure difficult times and moments as party leader, and also expressed appreciation for her support during local election campaigns.
